Crafted in pure Sambalpuri silk using the ancient Bandha ikat technique, where patterns are resist-dyed directly into the yarn before weaving — no printing, no embroidery. The result is a fabric of natural lustre, lightweight drape, and authentic handloom texture.
The expansive off-white body provides a clean canvas for the striking phoda kumbha border — a bold temple-spire zigzag in deep forest green, burnt orange, and royal blue running the full length of the saree.
The royal blue pallu showcases layered kumbha or temple motifs — grouped geometric ikat bands in blue, green, magenta, and teal — finished with traditional royal blue silk tassels
