Assam has some of India's most extraordinary silk traditions — and most of the world has never heard of them. At Bidyut Fashion House we carry authentic Assam handloom sarees including Muga silk, the golden silk unique to Assam that grows more lustrous with every wash; Eri silk, known as the peace silk for its non-violent harvesting; fine Mulberry silk with its smooth luminous drape; and rich Tussar silk with its natural textured finish. Each saree is handwoven by Assam weavers and sourced directly — no middlemen, no compromises.
